Scarlet Surprise
I drove hours chasing the right cloud setup for this sunset. It was fully overcast on arrival, but I setup tripod and waited patiently. Sure enough color started to appear around sunset and grew more intense with time. Then suddenly the cloud tore open near horizon letting in light that illuminated parts of the sky in brilliant red hue. Persistence paid off... Sonoma Coast
